Being Meteorologically Correct or....MC

Pertaining to this verse below of a song I'm working on, my question is: Could rain actually come or be seen to be coming from a fiery sky? (I'm thinking sunset here)

I like the way it flows, but it needs to be "MC".  I am biased and need another opinion, so please feel free to chime in

Cryin' comes easy

When you're crossin' the plains

Fiery sky full of nothing

'Cept the promise of rain

Nordstrom Jazz or Targe' Expérimental?

Here's a track ("smooth jazz"?) I've been tweaking the mix on.  Listening/testing on these little macbook speakers, the drums seem a bit too loud. Whaddya think?  May not finish it before I head out tomorrow, so here it is for now.
"Nordstrom Jazz" was the first title I thought of when starting this thing somewhere out rolling on the bus. Drum loop I used sounded to me like the cool music you hear in certain sections of the store.
For those interested, did all the guitar tracks on my '74 Stratocaster - the same axe I played in high school!

Your Creative Comments, Please!

I'm in the process of posting a simple acoustic guitar instrumental track to some online libraries,  and I need to find some keywords for it.
If you would be so kind, leave a comment as to what, if any, film, TV show, composer, era, this piece reminds you of.  Or perhaps what scene this conjures in your mind.  Just for kicks, I'm not going to tell you the title yet.  Even if you don't like it, you can....uh, never mind.
Have fun, be creative! - and know you have my thanks!
