Disney Geek Alert!

Yes, I can rock! But there's another side of me....
What do think the royalties are for "It's A Small World"?  These are the guys that wrote it.

Hey Kris, I'm going too!

We didn't vote for him at the Probst home, but yeah, he's pretty good! ;)
I'll be there with Hotel California June 22-28 2009, Epcot, America Gardens Theatre.

Daytona Beach, C.S. Lewis, & Math!

On Friday morning, the hours of rehearsing our three-part harmony National Anthem culminated in an 8:30am, 1 minute, 39 second "Star Spangled Banner" for the Florida Federation of Fairs Convention.  Then it was, "Farewell, Daytona Beach" & two of us were off to the airport!
A good day to finish my latest read: "Surprised By Joy, The Shape Of My Early Life" by C.S. Lewis.  He writes (lol to myself on the plane):
"I could never have gone far in any science because on the path of every science the lion Mathematics lies in wait for you."
Who can relate? ;)

Vlog #1 - Tank Full Of Heartache

For my first try at Video Blogging (And why not?), here's a continuation of the song lyrics on a post down below.  Just a sample of a tune in progress, started on a traveling, melancholy sort of day.  My standard procedure of late seems to be: Start lyrics while rolling down the road and fit a melody at home. Then, rewrite, rewrite, and...um, rewrite.  This one has actually made it to a second verse and a bridge, as yet unrevealed....ooooo, mysterious!  I may need a stronger second line in the chorus.
If this one's too sad for you, don't worry.  I've got a love song on the way as well.
Join me, won't you, for a sit at my kitchen table.  But quickly!  If I can't stand the sight of me, I'm pullin' it! :)

Cryin' comes easy
When you're crossin' the plains
Fiery sky full of nothing
'Cept the promise of rain
Fueled it up in Topeka
We'll see how far can I go
On a tank full of heartache, heartache
Always feels like the end of the road
On a tank full of heartache, heartache

Being Meteorologically Correct or....MC

Pertaining to this verse below of a song I'm working on, my question is: Could rain actually come or be seen to be coming from a fiery sky? (I'm thinking sunset here)

I like the way it flows, but it needs to be "MC".  I am biased and need another opinion, so please feel free to chime in
